A mother living in Jasphur, Chattisgarh, has had a memorial resembling her son who died during service in Bastar built.

Safiyama Toppo is seen cleaning the statue of her son Basil who was a police officer killed during a Naxalite attack in 2011.

Soon after his death, Saifyama asked her husband to build a memorial to remember their son.

She visits the site every morning and evening to spend time with her son's memorial.

A loving and Emotional mother can be seen cleaning and taking care of a memorial of his martyred son who was a police officer and died during a naxalite attack in 2011 in Bastar . Safiyama Toppo Mother of martyred police jawan, Basil Toppo constructed this memorial in memory of her son in the Perva Aara village of Jashpur, Chattisgarh . "I'm proud of him," his mother said.
After his death she started living a very sad life and was crying all the day , one day she asked her husband to build a memorial in memory of her son , this will make her feel that his son is near him tells a relative . Safiyama visits this memorial daily in morning and evening and spend some time with his son there , She tells I feel like I am spending time with my son . I come here daily and take care of my son . On the occasion of Independence day and Republic day of India many villagers also visits the memorial
