Londoners gathered to see dragon and lion dancing in Trafalgar Square on Chinese New Year Eve (Jan 31) during scaled-back celebrations to celebrate the Year of the Tiger. Nelson's Column was lit-up in red and other projections were seen in square itself.
The annual parade, the largest outside Asia was cancelled for the second time in a row, due to England only recently moving away from Plan B restrictions imposed to tackle the Omicron variant.
