Out for meeting his girlfriend, a man slipped into a 40-foot-deep well in northern India's Uttar Pradesh on the wee hours of January 31.
The incident took place in the Mati village, located in the Sarojaninagar block of the Lucknow district.
Visuals feature the rescuers pulling the man out of the well. They secure ropes to a wooden plank, which the person mounts, following which the saviors pull him out.
The man was out to meet his girlfriend when fog blinded his vision, and he slipped into the well. Following this, the woman informed the police, who arrived at the spot and rescued him.
Moreover, the Bijnor police swung into action and admitted him to Sarojininagar CHC, where doctors discharged him after giving first aid.
