Chinese man carves mascots for the Winter Olympics into leaves
A man in eastern China carved the mascots for the 2022 Winter Olympics into leaves.
Impressive footage filmed in the city of Liaocheng in Shandong Province on February 4 shows a 32-year-old man named Jia Jingrui carving the two mascots, Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon, for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Jia also carved an ancient city and some celebrities' portraits into the dried leaves.
Jia learnt leaf carving by himself for three years. He said: "I had a certain foundation of art and likes drawing. I fell in love with leaf carving when I first saw folk art and thought that I must learn this skill."
It took Jia around six hours to finish carving the mascots.
