This mother cow ran behind a car that was carrying her newborn calf for around 2 kilometres in Thirupathur, Tamil Nadu.

Footage from February 3 shows the mother following the car through the streets as the owner was transporting the calf to a shelter.

Location: Thirupathur, Sivagangai district of Tamilnadu state in South India.

Chinnaraja, a farmer reared a pregnant cow. The cow was taken for grazing in the fields that are 2 kms away from the cow's shed. The cow gave birth to a baby calf in the fields. The owner tried to take the mama cow and its calf to the shed. The newborn calf was weak and it cant able to walk.

Hence the owner decided to take the calf in the car. He took the calf in the car on seeing this mama cow got scared as her baby was being kidnapped from her. Then she followed the car for 2 kms. It ran to the speed of the car and didnt miss the car until it stopped.

The car stopped on the owner's shed. The calf was taken out and was carried to the shed. Mama calf had a heavy sigh of relief only after reuniting with her baby. Motherly love remains the same for animals too.
