A march in Gaza City against the Palestinian Central Council meeting of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) is taking place today in Ramallah under the chairmanship of President Mahmoud Abbas.
Under the boycott of the Popular Front, the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements and the National Initiative refused to participate in the meetings.
Participants in the march took the lead in restructuring and reforming the Palestine Liberation Organization.
It will also discuss the stalemate in the Middle East peace process and the need for the international community to assume its responsibilities by implementing its resolutions on the question of Palestine, in particular about the cessation of Israeli settlements and the provision of international protection to our people, and the convening of an international peace conference under the auspices of the United Nations to implement its resolutions.
