Wild monkey steals food from hotel guests in Costa Rica
This is the amusing moment a wild monkey stole food from hotel guests in Costa Rica.
The tourists were dining al fresco next to a tree-filled area in Puntarenas City on February 2 when the monkey popped in to look for some food.
It was seen perched on the hotel's railings before jumping onto a table and grabbing some leftover scraps from a dish. With a piece of food dangling from its mouth, the hungry simian left to enjoy its meal.
Hotel owner Geiner Hidalgo said: 'We tried to stop it, but it happened so fast and we could not do anything. I am glad because our guests are really warm and kind to animals.'
