Residents queued overnight in China to buy the panda mascot for the Winter Olympics.

Video filmed in the city of Beijing on February 7 shows hundreds of residents lining up in a long queue in cold at 1 am to wait for the official Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics flagship store to open at 9:00 am to buy the mascot Bing Dwen Dwen.

Someone reportedly resold a 22cm Bing Dwen Dwen toy for 2,000 yuan (£232) after they purchased it for only 198 yuan (£23).

The video was provided by local media with permission.
