Hair dye and butt paint for well-groomed camels at northern India cattle fair
Spoiled camels were treated to trims, hair dye, and even temporary tattoos on their backsides at an annual cattle fair in northern India's Rajasthan.
Video shot on February 7 showed the animals being groomed and decorated at the event in Nagaur.
The mammals patiently rested on the ground while their caretakers shaved the thick fur off, before using paint and dye to decorate the camel's head, hump, and even buttocks, so it looks its best.
The Nagaur Fair, also known as the Nagaur Cattle Fair, is the second biggest fair in India, primarily involving the trading of animals.
The event goes on for roughly eight days and is held annually in January and February.
