A truck driver performed a handbrake turn to avoid hitting clumsy motorcycle rider that drifted into his pather.

The 10-wheeler was travelling on a highway in Phatthalung, southern Thailand on July 3 when the motorcycle and side-trailor emerged from a nearby shop and pulled into the road - straight in front of the larger vehicle.

It then had to slow down and slide to the side to avoid hitting the motorcycle rider who appeared to have not noticed the truck driving from behind.

CCTV video footage shows the 10-wheeler pulling the handbrake and stopping inches away from hitting the modified motorcycle. It then swerved to the side while the smaller vehicle was able to escape unharmed - riding away without thanking the driver for saving his life.

No one was reported hurt in the incident including the truck driver.
