Amazing moment robin flies into man's hand 'Archangel' style
This is the amazing moment a robin flew into a man's hand 'Archangel' style - all captured in slow motion.
Mike Oldridge, 51, shot the stunning clip of the bird flying into his hand for some mealworms on February 1, in his garden in Oxford.
The NHS clinical scientist in human genetics has dubbed the bird - which often flies into his garden - as Roy.
He said: "Basically, I thought I'd try out the slow mo on my phone and Roy the robin obliged as usual. He's very accommodating.
"I've always had a resident robin, and they always end up eating out of my hand.
"Roy's a cheeky chappy and didn't take much encouragement, some are a bit more nervous.
"He often comes into my kitchen to help himself to mealworms and if I'm working in the back room he'll come and tap on the window to let me know he wants some food.
"He's pretty demanding now that I think about it!"
