Four additional U.S Air Force Boeing B-52 Stratofortress bombers to arrive at RAF Fairford, UK on Thursday (February 11) as reports emerged Friday that NATO ambassadors have convened a highly unusual Friday night meeting to discuss increased concerns about Russian military planning.

The first landed at 11:30 as "HATE14" (61-0039), the second, "HATE13" (60-0044) arrived at 14:06, followed by "HATE12" (61-0020) and "HATE11" (61-0033) touching down at 14:56 and 15:15 respectively.

The bombers arrived from the 5th Bomb Wing, Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, to take part in a 'Bomber Taskforce' mission. ("Bomber Task Force missions are regularly scheduled U.S. European Command and U.S. Strategic Command joint mission series." - UK Defence Journal) Despite this, many are suggesting the timing is too much of a coincidence given the increasing tension between Ukraine and Russia recently.
