This man living in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has a squirrel sidekick that clings onto him as he rides his motorbike.

Hari, an IT worker, found the squirrel injured as a baby, treated its wounds and fed it some nuts. This continued for several days and the squirrel refused to leave.

Hari named his furry friend Appu, meaning "the small guy."

This footage was filmed on February 9.

Scurry Squirrel and man share a great bond as it was rescued by him a couple of months ago in South India.

Hari works as an IT employee. A wounded baby squirrel came to his home. On seeing it's pathetic condition the man treated for the wounds and gave some nuts to eat. This continued for a couple of days and the squirrel got recovered. Even though it recovered it refused to stay away from the man. It continued to live with him in his house.

So this man adopted the squirrel and named it "Appu" (the small guy).

He fed it with milk and nuts daily and it travelled with him wherever he went. It even goes to his office daily. It sleeps under his clothes daily says Hari.

It rides on the bike too. It will have a strong grip even when hari rides it fast.

All the nearby people are moved by the squirrel and man s bonding.
