New Zealand authorities blast 'Macarena' in attempt to disperse anti-vax protesters
Authorities in New Zealand attempted to disperse anti-vax protesters outside Parliament in Wellington on Saturday (February 12) by blasting the 90s hit "Macarena".
The song by Latin pop duo Los del Rio was one of several pop tracks played on a loop to the line of protesters in an attempt to annoy them into submission.
Some of Barry Manilow’s greatest hits were also included in the 15-minute playlist in an attempt to dislodge the “Convoy for Freedom” protesters.
