A TikTok doctor has shown his latest project — a tummy tuck on a mother who was left with large folds of excess skin and a "hidden" belly button after childbirth.

Dr Anthony Youn, a plastic surgeon from the US, shared a clip of the dramatic transformation with his 7.4 million followers on TikTok.

In the post, Dr Youn shows his client before undergoing the procedure, explaining that she had previously had a “flat tummy” – but that after having one child she was left with panniculus (excess skin on the stomach).

He marks a grid on her stomach for incision before the treatment.

Lifting up her marked skin before the procedure, he says: "Here's her belly button hidden underneath."

In the clip, which has garnered 580,000 views and 105,000 likes, Dr Youn also shows the lady after the procedure.

Her stomach is remarkably flat and with her belly button clearly visible after the three-hour procedure removed 11lbs.

Dr Youn says: "Here she is three hours later and 11lbs lighter. I'm so glad she saw me..."
