Hardworking coconut vendor swims in flooded river to collect fallen fruit
A hardworking coconut vendor swam on a flooded river to collect fallen fruit during a thunderstorm.
Footage shows the man clinging behind dozens of coconut he had secured in a net in Quezon province, the Philippines on January 26.
Upon reaching the shallow part of the water, the vendor walked up and dragged his haul to the riverbanks safely before heading home.
Onlooker Maria Lyn Dequina said: 'We were there for an outing, the resort had a pool and nice river but because of the strong rain it was flooded.
'A few moments later, we saw the man trying to collect the coconut in the water.'
