A young girl in the outskirts of Moscow is caught on CCTV outsmarting a creepy man who followed her from school to home on 16 January.

The girl, reportedly 9 years old, approaches the entrance of a residential building as a man suspiciously hangs around nearby.

As soon as the girl goes inside, he immediately follows her, but the clever kid outsmarts him, hiding around a corner while he walks past, allowing her to quickly exit the building.

The man eventually realised what she has done and follows, but the girl quickly finds her father who is nearby and he escorts her home.

Reports say the police later found the man, who had a history of mental health problems, but that they could not take action as no crime had been committed.

The video clearly shows how the girl approaches the entrance of a residential building. She looks no more than 10 years old, with a school backpack on her shoulders. While the schoolgirl opens the front door, a suspicious man is spinning near the entrance. As soon as the girl went inside, he immediately followed her. But, it seems, the baby knew well how to behave in such situations. Realizing that the man was following her, she ran outside. Judging by the records, the stranger had nothing to do in the house. Immediately after the girl left, he also went outside. The girl immediately told her parents about the strange situation by phone - and they asked the neighbor to take her daughter to the apartment.
