Hundreds of protesters gathered in Toronto on Tuesday (February 15) in support of the ongoing "Freedom Convoy" blockade in Ottawa.

Footage captured in Ontario legislative grounds showed a jubilant atmosphere as protesters blasted loud music and waved the Canadian flag.

Many also carried placards critical of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for introducing a vaccine mandate for truckers and other COVID-19 measures.

Trudeau on Monday (February 14) took the unprecedented step of invoking the Emergencies Act to give his government enhanced authority in response to the anti-vaccine mandate protests gripping Canada.

Hundreds of people have gathered on the Ontario legislative grounds to protest against COVID-19 public health measures. Ontario premier declared a state of emergency on Friday in reaction to the truck blockades in Ottawa and at the U.S. border and threatened heavy penalties against those who interfere with the free flow of goods and people.
