Monkey refuses to leave friend killed in an accident
A monkey refused to leave its friend who was killed in an accident in southern China.
A heartbreaking video filmed in the city of Guiyang in Guizhou Province on February 14 shows a monkey running to its dead friend laying on a roadside and attempting to drag it away.
According to a nearby resident Ms Yang, the road is next to the mountains and forests, and monkeys often run down the mountains.
The two monkeys reportedly walked along the roadside but one monkey suddenly ran into the middle of the road and was hit by an SUV.
Police moved the dead monkey to the side of the road and the other monkey went to accompany him and refused to leave him.
