Members of the public arrive on the promenade in Rhyl, North Wales attempting to take selfies and videos of the waves crashing into the seafront.

The waves increase in size and begin to engulf the bystanders, leaving them drenched and forcing them to retreat as one woman struggles against the strong winds from Storm Eunice, which are blowing almost directly onto the shore.

Then, two men, one in a high-vis and one wearing jeans, attempt to cross a grassy section of the promenade to reach a shelter. They are immediately soaked by a huge wave which crashes over the sea wall almost blocking them from sight, and the man wearing jeans runs back straight away. He's followed seconds later by his friend in high-vis and retreat back to their car.
