Boats thrown around in 100mph winds in Bude

Storm Eunice hit Cornwall early hours of Friday morning 18/02/2022

I live in Kilkhampton just 4 miles from Bude in north Cornwall and winds hit over 100 mph. Causing roofs to be blown off, trees to fall and the boats at Upper tamar lakes to be ripped off trailers and blown over and around the boat yard. The normally calm lake was a very scary place to be today.

The roads around Bude were littered with tree limbs, power lines and fallen trees and the coastal roads unpassable due to high risk of being blown off the road.

Kilkhampton was left without power from 10am till 6.30pm
