A leopard was rescued by the officials from an open well in central India's Madhya Pradesh on February 19. The incident took place in the Manpur buffer zone of Umaria district.

Visuals feature the rescuers lowering a rope and net into the well, from which the big cat gathers support. Following this, collective force is applied by the saviors to pull out the stranded leopard in daylight near the open well. As soon as the leopard reaches the surface, it sprints into the bushes and drifts away.

The officials from the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and Manpur range arrived at the spot upon receiving information about the leopard and rescued it. However, it is still unknown when the big cat fell inside or for how long it was struggling, but it ran into the forest as soon as it was saved.
