Popular rapper Dave has been forced to cancel his two concerts at London's O2 after Storm Eunice damaged the arena. The venue has yet to confirm when it will re-open.

Video filmed on Saturday 24 hours after the storm hit shows massive holes in the arena's tent fabric.

Brit Award winner Dave, from Streatham in south London, tweeted on Saturday evening: "Bad news, The O2 have told us Monday and Tuesday’s shows can’t happen. (Storm/roof) we’re doing everything we can to reschedule the shows to play as soon as possible. Have been told it won’t be too long I’ll know more on Monday and will return with a tweet then.. So sorry guys."

A statement on the O2's website said: "Following the damage from Storm Eunice yesterday, The O2 will sadly remain closed today. We’re working hard to reopen as soon as possible, but everyone’s safety remains most important. If you have a booking today, please contact the venue you made it with directly to rearrange. We’ll keep you posted on further venue and arena updates. Thanks so much for your continued support."
