Heavy rain causes River Aire to burst its banks in Castleford, West Yorkshire, UK

The River Aire in Yorkshire, northern England, burst its banks on Sunday 20 February as the UK is battered by its third storm in succession.

With Storm Dudley, Storm Eunice and now Storm Florence, the heavy rain and snowfall across the region has flooded he river.

The scene was filmed near The Boat pub and restaurant in Allerton Bywater It is next to a flood plain that filled up before it overflowed, causing flooding and closing nearby Barnsdale Road.
