Storm Franklin nearly managed to blow a rental bicycle into the air on Sunday 20 February, despite it being firmly locked to the ground.

Storm Franklin is the third storm in a row to hit the UK, after Storm Dudley and Storm Eunice. All three have brought extremely high winds.

This scene was filmed near Waterloo station and the South Bank Center.

The bike, of a kind often dubbed 'Boris bikes' by Londoners but officially now called Santander Cycles, is a rental bike that is firmly locked to its docking station. In theory impossible to move.

The wind did not think much of that theory however, and came close to throwing it into the air.
