Woman drops phone into fish tank as she mistakes it for counter in China
A woman dropped her phone into a fish tank as she mistook it for a counter in China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Tengcong in Yunnan Province on February 20 shows a woman walking into a phone shop and putting her phone into a fish tank.
The phone then dropped into the water as the tank did not have a cover on it.
An employee helped the woman take her phone out of the fish tank. Since the phone was waterproof, it was not damaged.
According to reports, the woman was about to get a screen protector in the phone shop and put her phone onto a fish tank as she mistook it for a counter.
The shop owner Mr Zhang said the incident happens four or five times every year. So he is going to install a net to cover the fish tank.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
