Localised snow in northern China left one resident baffled as it was just falling on one side of his flat.

A bizarre video filmed in the city of Yan'an in Shaanxi Province on February 19 shows a resident named Wang seeing the snow through the window in his kitchen but not on his balcony.

Wang said his wife told him it was snowing outside when she was cooking in the kitchen but he did not see the snow through the balcony.

The phenomenon lasted for around five minutes before it started snowing on both sides of the flat.

2月19日，陕西延安的王先生记录下小区“局部下雪”的奇景。他从家中阳台和厨房看到了两种迥然不同的天气，厨房朝向的外面已经下了很大的雪，客厅朝向的外面阴天，一点都没有下雪，让他感到很是神奇。王先生说，当时媳妇正在厨房做饭，告诉他说下雪了，而他在客厅看阳台窗户，并没有下雪，感觉很神奇，这种情况大概持续了五六分钟，两边才一块下雪。（视频由陕西台提供）
