Devastating floods swamped parts of Shrewsbury in the UK as the River Severn reached record levels during Storm Franklin.

Footage filmed on Tuesday 22 February showed parts of the town inundated with water.

Storm Franklin was the third storm in a row to hit the UK and Ireland, after Storm Dudley and Storm Eunice. It brought high winds, heavy rain and flooding to many areas.
