The River Mersey overflowed in Didsbury, a suburb of Manchester, UK, as Storm Franklin drenched the area on Sunday 20 February.
This video shows flood basins in action at Didsbury as water levels in the River Mersey reached record highs and overflowed late that evening.
Storm Franklin was the third storm in a row to hit the UK and Ireland, after Storm Dudley and Storm Eunice. It brought high winds, heavy rain and flooding to many areas.
