A labourer mined a 26.11-carat diamond in central India on February 21, after 20 years looking for a life-changing gem like that.

The stone was found in Panna district of Madhya Pradesh.

Visuals feature the enormous diamond. The gem's clear surface shines while the man holding it rotates the stone in his hand.

According to reports, Kishorganj resident Shushil Shukla found the diamond, worth 160,349 US dollars (Rs 1.20 crore), which will be auctioned on February 24.

After that, 12 percent will be deducted as royalties to the government and one percent as TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and Shukla will receive the remainder.
