Aerial footage shows miles of floodwater after the River Clwyd burst its banks following Storm Franklin.

Visuals recorded on February 23 reveal the extent of the flooding near St Asaph, northern Wales, after three named storms hit the area within a week.

According to the filmer: "Livestock has been evacuated onto higher ground from the flooded fields.

"The modern A55 expressway and older A525 road are busy with traffic as the rising water pushes up against the supports of multiple bridges and culverts."

After the area was hit by three named storms within a week and further rain has followed Storm Franklin, the River Clwyd has burst its banks near St Asaph in North Wales.

Floodwater has engulfed the land around the meandering river and, even from the air, extends as far as the eye can see in both upstream and downstream.
