This footage was filmed and produced 23 February 2022.

On Wednesday (February 23) hundreds of protesters gathered on “Independence” square in Sofia in front of the Council of ministers. The demonstration was organized by patriotic political party “Vazrajdane” witch is the part of the parliamentary opposition in Bulgarian Parliament. The slogan was “I want a normal life!”

As Prime minister Kiril Petkov decided to come down and speak in front of the crowd, hundreds screamed “Resign!” on his face. The PM presence created a tension on the event. But due to the strong police presence no incidents occurred.

Members of the party and citizens protested the high energy prices (electricity, gas, fuel) and the government policy witch lead to misery. They are also against the green certificate witch lead, on their opinion, to a forced vaccination.
