This is the astonishing moment a huge python was found hiding in a car's rear bumper.

The massive reptile slithered into the white SUV while it was parked outside a home in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on February 10.

Snake handlers arrived and began pulling the beast out of its hiding place. It took them more than 30 minutes to remove the python, which had wrapped itself around the machinery.

The driver Seth Nou said he noticed the snake's tail dangling down from the back of the car when he set off for work in the morning.

He said: "I'm glad that the snake was caught before I left in the car. It was such a big one, bigger than I ever saw in the wild."
