Bride swaps traditional bouquet toss for hilarious musical chairs Maypole dance style game
A newlywed bride swapped the traditional bouquet toss for this hilarious musical chairs style game to see which guest would be left holding the flowers.
The young woman, Shyne Mangante, attached a dozen lengths of golden ribbon to the bouquet for each female guest to hold onto and walk around her like a maypole.
While blindfolded with a face mask, the bride cut a piece of ribbon each time the music stopped playing - eliminating a woman and her chances of being the next to wed, according to the popular superstition.
An announcer with a microphone was also on hand to give an amusing commentary at the wedding ceremony reception in Oriental Mindoro, the Philippines last October 21.
One woman was eventually left holding the bouquet.
Wedding videographer Kenny Briones said: 'I heard it was the bride's idea. It was fun and unique. Everyone was involved with it.'
