Shocking footage shows boy risking his life by going for a swim in flooded UK river
Shocking footage shows the moment an idiotic boy risked his life by going for a swim in a swollen flooded river in Hereford.
The youngster was spotted jumping into the River Wye from a walkway before making his way out into the open water on Wednesday (22/2).
He was then swept underneath a bridge by the raging torrent but gave a thumbs up to concerned onlookers who shouted at him to get out.
The lad later managed to climb out where he was met by members from the Environment Agency who had watched him swim down the swirling river.
The footage was posted online where web users branded the boy an "idiot" and slammed his reckless actions for also potentially putting other lives at risk.
