80 000 people living in Prague took part in protest against the war between Russia and Ukraine on February 27.

80 000 people living in Prague took part in this Sunday’s protest against the war between Russia and Ukraine. It has become one of the largest demonstrations against the invasion held in Prague to date. The protest featured speakers (including the Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala) and musical acts. Czech Republic is actively helping Ukraine nowadays: for example, Czech Railways has already sent two trains full of humanitarian aid and offered free transport to all Ukrainians, Czech Post waived all fees for shipping packages to Ukraine. Moreover, Czech Defence Ministry said it is immediately sending machine guns, assault rifles and pistols together with ammunition worth the equivalent of $8.6 million. The Czech Republic has already hosted about 2000 refugees who have fled from Ukraine.
