An alert female railway police prevented a male passenger from going under the wheels of a moving train in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place at the Aligarh Junction railway station on February 27.

Visuals showed the passenger slipping while boarding the moving train and getting dragged. Upon noticing the distress, the woman cop quickly runs towards him and even though she fails to hang onto him at first, a second attempt proves fruitful. The cop manages to pull the man out in time, thus saving him from falling down and being crushed under the wheels.

According to the cop, the passenger was late boarding the train and slipped while doing so. She said that the passenger sustained minor injuries. Later, he was able to board the same train.
