Donations pile up in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, as UK aid floods in to support Ukraine following Russian invasion
Donations have begun to arrive at a centre in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire following an appeal for aid to help Ukranians fleeing war in their country following the Russian invasion. Today (February 28), aid was seen arriving at the C3 Church in Up Hatherley, Cheltenham. The organiser of the appeal, Viola Huxley, a Polish woman living in Gloucestershire, appealed for donations. She asked that no more clothes be donated, but requested an urgent need for medical equipment, blankets, personal hygiene products, transport, and logistical support.
