Activities were organised on Tuesday 1 March to lift the spirits of children displaced by the 6.2 magnitude earthquake and landslides that hit West Pasaman in West Sumatra, Indonesia.

In order to reduce trauma, the Genre Forum and the West Pasaman Children's Forum joined forces with the local Office of Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, to organise healing activities for children who were displaced.

The event was held in the yard of the West Pasaman Regent's Office.

Everyone participated in cheerful gymnastics, and drawing activities, in order to reduce anxiety and fear in children who experienced repeated earthquakes on Friday 25 February.

The activity was warmly welcomed by parents and families, hoping their children would be able to get over the disaster.

In order to reduce trauma after the earthquake struck with a magnitude of 6.2, the Genre Forum and the West Pasaman Children's Forum in collaboration with the Office of Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, West Pasaman Regency, carried out trauma healing activities for children who were displaced at the earthquake's main post, in the yard of the West Pasaman Regent's Office. The activities carried out by "Trauma Healing" are in the form of cheerful gymnastics and drawing together, in order to reduce and eliminate anxiety and fear in children during repeated earthquakes on Friday (25/2/2022). Trauma Healing untun anak-anak pengungsi bencana Gempa 6.2 Magnitudo di Pasaman Barat.

Guna mengurangi trauma pasca gempa melanda berkekuatan 6.2 Magnitudo, Forum Genre dan Forum Anak Pasaman Barat bekerja sama dengan Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk Keluarga Berencana Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Kabupaten Pasaman Barat, melakukan kegiatan trauma healing kepada Anak-anak yang mengungsi di posko utama gempa bumi, di halaman Kantor Bupati Pasaman Barat.

Kegiatan yang dilakukan "Trauma Healing" ini berupa senam ceria dan menggambar bersama, guna mengurangi dan menghilangkan rasa cemas dan takut pada anak-anak saat bencana gempa berulang-ulang terjadi pada Jumat (25/2/2022) lalu.

Kegiatan tersebut di sambut ceria oleh orang tua maupun keluarga agar anak-anak mereka mampu melupakan mengerikannya bencana yang terjadi.(moozamochi).
