Australia slammed with devastating flooding, panic buying ensues, and double rainbow emerges
Devastating flooding has continued in the east coast of Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. Video shows people in Lismore, New South Wales evacuating by boat.
Supermarket shelves in Queensland ran empty amid a flooding emergency there. The flooding reportedly hit supply lines resulting in stores having issues with restocking their supplies and people panic buying due to fears of getting stranded in their homes.
A double rainbow also appeared above the Brisbane River in Tenerife on Monday, February 28 after the major flooding.
The following footage was filmed and posted on social media by @robovadia in Lismore, New South Wales; @sarah_anne12 in Terania St., Lismore, New South Wales; @Yukika_OVDM in ALDI in Caloundra, South East Queensland; @frenchriley in Submariners Walk Heritage Trail at Macquarie St, Teneriffe, Brisbane, Queensland
