A woman performed CPR to rescue an elderly man who fainted on a road in northern China.

Video filmed in the city of Baotou in Inner Mongolia on February 26 shows an old man suddenly falling onto the ground at the gate of a residential community.

A woman named Wei Hongxia who was cycling past the area spotted the old man and walked to check him up.

Wei then kneeled down and performed CPR to try to save the old man.

After Wei did CPR, the old man finally regained consciousness. An ambulance then arrived to take the old man to hohspital.

According to reports, the old man suffered a sudden cerebral infarction, causing him to faint.

Thanks to Wei, the old man was alright and has been discharged from hospital already.
