Israeli forces Tuesday overnight gunned down two Palestinians and injured another in the northern West Bank refugee camp of Jenin, according to security sources.
They confirmed that Israeli special forces driving Palestinian-registered vehicles sneaked their way into the refugee camp to conduct a detention operation.
The special forces barged their way into several houses, occupied their roofs and opened fire at local youths protesting the raid.
Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
