Spectacular footage shows 280-metre bridge being demolished in southern China
A 280-metre-long and 13.5-metre-wide bridge was demolished in southern China.
The spectacular video was filmed in the city of Huaihua in Hunan Province on February 27.
Smoke rose into the air after the bridge was demolished.
According to reports, the bridge built in 1971 was unable to meet the current traffic demand. So it was demolished to build a new one.
The new bridge is expected to be completed and open to the public by New Year's Day in 2024.
