Yellowstone National Park Turns 150: See some of its iconic geological features

On 1 March 150 years ago, US President Ulysses S. Grant signed the Yellowstone National Park Protection law, which created the world's first national park.

This video, shot July 30, 2021, opens with the iconic geyser Old Faithful then shows other famous Yellowstone geological features and even a wandering buffalo.

The creation of Yellowstone led to the creation of other national parks. So many so that today there are 63 parks in the national park system.
