A group of Indian students who fled Ukraine to Romania share their distressing ordeals.

The students, who are now at a shelter in Romania, set up a camera and decided to voice their traumatising experiences of fleeing wartorn Ukraine.

Muskan, the first student to speak, said she had to repeatedly leave her room at a hostel to take shelter in a bunker whenever air raid sirens were sounded.

She also added there was little food and large queues at ATMs.

The second student, Nikita, explained how students had to walk between 20 to 50 kilometres to reach the Romanian border.

She also claims that the military at the border acted aggressive towards Indian and Nigerian students.

The next to speak, Faiz, said that they are being provided with the essentials while at the shelter in Romania.

The students are now waiting to return to India.

Indian students who have crossed Ukranian borders to cross into another neighbour country are now coming forward and sharing their experiences in Ukraine and on border areas .

Muskan the first student who spoke , tells that her last couple of days are very distressing , they had to to ten times up and down in their hostel , from room to bunkers whenever their was air alarms , at some moments there were no food to eat and long lines at ATMs and stores , they booked their private vehicle to reach Romania border
Second student Nikita tells how traumatizing experience it was to reach border and even worst at borders , she tells that students have to walk 20 - 50 kms to reach borders, when they reached at Romania border there was a total chaos , we were so much tired and it was bone chilling winter with no warm clothes with us , the millitary there beaten Indian and Nigerian students , they pulled and kicked students after wait of 20 - 24 hours in queue we crossed the border into Romania
