A 22-wheeler lorry lost its brakes and slammed into a pickup truck that was waiting at a set of traffic lights.

CCTV footage shows the trailer crashing into the pickup from behind in Chonburi province, Thailand on February 18.

The truck continued skidding towards the other lane and hit another truck before going on a full stop. Despite the impact, no one was reported seriously hurt from the incident.

Driver Chai Pichit, 30, said: 'I was slamming the brakes but it was not working. It all happened too fast the next thing I knew I was hitting other vehicles.'

Police said the driver Chai would be fined for the damages while investigations are ongoing. Meanwhile, the drivers were advised to contact their car insurance providers.
