Supermarkets in the embattled Ukrainian city of Kharkiv were running low on supplies today (March 3) as shoppers engaged in panic buying.

"Everyone is trying to get food," said local resident Tetyana as she recorded bare shelves and a frantic atmosphere at her local store.

Ukraine’s second-largest city came under a barrage of Russian air and rocket attacks on Tuesday morning.

Due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine , people in Ukraine are stocking the foods and essentials in panic .
