An animal expert from southern India removed a vine snake from a birdcage on March 1 after the reptile devoured two chicks.

Bird-lover Sathish called for help when he heard a racket coming from one of his lovebird cages at his home in Tamil Nadu and found the reptile had already eaten two hatchlings.

The experienced rescuer caught the common vine snake by hand and relocated it to a nearby forest.

Sathish raised love birds in his house for home entertainment, this morning there was some different noises coming from the bird cage, so when he heard the noise and went near the cage, he was shocked to find that there was a snake chasing the birds. That snake has already eaten both the hatchlings and eggs of the love birds and it was again trying to hunt the mother bird in the cage. when the owner of the bird saw this, he informed the snake-catching team for the rescue. Then our group of snake catchers after wearing gloves in their hands successfully captured the snake and took it safely to a nearby forest saying that this snake is non-venomous. Those birds were still scared even after catching this snake. The snake-catching crew left without any charges. It happened in the South Indian region of Tamil Nadu.
