Woman slips while boarding moving train, gets rescued in southern India
A woman slipped while boarding a moving train, following which she was rescued in southern India's Karnataka on March 1. The incident took place at the Ballari Junction Railway Station.
Visuals feature the woman boarding the departing train. However, she slips while getting on, and her lower body gets dragged along the platform as she struggles to hold onto the locomotive's gate. Meanwhile, an alert railway official notices her and rushes to her aid, rescuing her.
Government Railway Police (GRP) official Maruti's vigilance and timely response saved the woman and averted what could have been a tragedy.
