Talented teen does football freestyle tricks at protest rally against military coup in Myanmar
A talented teenager performed football freestyle tricks at a protest rally against the military coup in Myanmar.
Htet Naing Phyo, 19, wore a red jersey while letting a football glide across his head, shoulders, and arms in the streets of Naypyitaw, Tatkon township, on February 14.
Htet said: 'I was not only performing but also protesting against the military coup. I hope many would support our cause, especially football lovers.'
Large crowds had gathered on the first anniversary of the military coup, which saw army chiefs topple Aung San Suu Kyi. The action triggered national protests and violent crackdowns on the demonstrations.
